Leuchars station, waiting for the train to take me south to Edinburgh for my second and final set of meetings of my holiday. It's a good thing the view is so nice from the platforms--I arrived at/departed from this station 6 times during my 10-day stay.

Castles--they're really big on castles here. These three photos were taken from the look-out point atop the Camera Obscura building. (Speaking of which, this turned out to be an attraction well worth the time and minimal cost of admission. I arrived shortly before closing, so I got a discount off the already-reduced student price and had the whole place almost entirely to myself, which is significant in the sort of "museum" that lets you touch the artifacts.)

For those familiar with the problem of induction or any number of other philosophical or economic concepts, allow me to introduce David Hume in a less-than-dignified state (I swear, I didn't do it).







Back in St. Andrews in the evening, looking at the south-east corner of City Road and St. Mary's Place. I set my camera for a long exposure and came up with these delightfully bright couple of images, the former of which shows off the partially cloud-covered moon.
