I walked over to Queen's Park in the afternoon with the honest intention of studying, but instead walked right in on the Mutahdi International Drumming Festival. Endless percussion + the not-so-faint presence of marijuana in the air = not terribly effective study environment. Good music, though.

Definitely no shortage of drummers...

...or drums.

A pile of bicycles next to the ice cream truck where several adults were lining up to get themselves ice cream (the children played in the fountain instead).

Lots of hippy-ness like this converted school bus with a canoe and a bicycle on top, and a flower-printed bed-type thing inside. I felt like I was in San Francisco, or at least back in California.

There were several stages with drummers and people watching from all angles, including this guy who seemed to enjoy the shade by this Budget van...

...but, by far, the most popular thing to do seemed to involve that free-form, body-waving-and-wiggling sort of dance reserved for only (a) the most confident and/or (b) the most drugged among us.
