I very quickly gave up on the lawns on account of spending very little time actually studying. I ended up here, instead, at the E.J. Pratt Library at the University of Victoria College. Green rust...I love it.
At the front entrance of the E.J. Pratt Library. I found this to be very awkward phrasing. Is there such thing as abnormal occupation of a library? And, if so, can I come? I can bring streamers and a cake.
Still on the University of Victoria College campus (Emmanuel College on the left side of the picture, Isabel Bader Theatre at the upper-right corner). This girl is not walking around the tree for exercise, nor is she enjoying the scenery. In fact, she used to be sitting down on that ledge, reading a book. But, now? Now she is in fearful opposition of a squirrel, who is poised equidistant from the tree on the other side. Though she had no food, the squirrel was actually following her around and hunting her down.
I love Toronto squirrels. Such chutzpah, these guys.
Yes, Victoria College is very pretty. It's one of the original colleges in the university (hence 'University of Victoria College,' as it was first its own university) and therefore most of it was built in the early 1800's.
My college (New College) is less traditionally pretty, though we win as greenery goes--we have a cosy, secluded area of rolling green hills.
I only have a small plunger. Can you bring a big one? I'm fine with an oligarchy if you are.
