These next three images were taken at the Metropolitan Toronto Police Headquarters on College Street (just west of Fran's Restaurant). Not only did I get to play with high contrast colour saturation, but also disembodied legs (compliments of one Ross Hawkins).
Indeed, I should be giving Ross more credit as he was very patient tonight, both in his company (while he waited for me to take pictures of buildings, puddles, and other fixtures of urban life) and in his modelling (perhaps all the more impressive as, in these shots in particular, he was not told that he was the subject, or even included in the frame).

Same location as the previous image. For some reason, I am particularly taken with this picture. (For those familiar with it, it is my theory that the zone system accounts for why this image grabs my attention, in spite of truly mediocre composition. In it, I can find pitch black, crisp white, and at least five zones in between.)
