The charm hanging from Aubrey's rearview mirror. I don't know how she drives with it swinging around like that, but it's really very pretty.
The cheapest gas at this station was 2.47$USD. Sheesh.
Aubrey used to work at this Starbucks, oh yuppie heaven. Have you hugged your barista today?
I couldn't hear what they were talking about, but judging by the magazines they were passing around and the structure of the conversation that I could see, I think these women were interviewing to be models in either a men's general interest or porn magazine. Ah, Los Angeles...

I love it when people don't notice me and my little camera. This, ladies and gentlemen, is why I almost always turn off the flash. (There were enough mobile phones going off here, too, that the little beeps coming from my camera didn't seem to phase anyone.)
Starbucks really does lend itself to this high-contrast stuff.
Perhaps my favourite photo of the day.
I like the juxtapostion of the two men. (My high school photography teacher would/should be proud that I remember that term.)
Much later in the evening, I went out to dinner with Joe (not pictured at all), Jeremy, and Emily. Jeremy, a graduated Bachelor of film studies who now actually works in the industry (I didn't know that ever really happened!) tells me he looks best in this low, tungsten light. (And he did, but then I took the photo home and mucked it up to what it is now.)
