Huron Street and Sussex Avenue. This is the Chelsea Shop by which I walk at least once per week, if not more. The strange thing about the Chelsea Shop is that it's not a shop at all--it's an office.





Huron Street and Bloor Street West, in front of G's Fine Foods, after a very brief morning rain.





Sussex Avenue, just east of Spadina Avenue. Maybe it's because I'm from Southern California, where the term "hail" is really only ever used as that verb synonymous with bowing (and if it is ever used as a noun, it is only in theory), but I was shocked and highly amused when today, 2nd May, it hailed. I guess the April showers are a bit late...not that we ever seen rain in Southern California, either, oh land devoid of weather...





Bedford Road and Bloor Street West. This photo required no alterations whatsoever as the sun peeking through very ominous-looking clouds (this was minutes before the hail started) provided the perfect amount of brightness and contrast. The funny thing about this sign for "Varsity Stadium" is that there really isn't a stadium to speak of at all. But I suppose "Varsity Grass with Bleachers and Dirt Piles" just doesn't fit on a sign as well, does it?
